Blackberry Farm

Blackberry Farm
Walland, TN

The Inn at Blackberry Farm was founded over 30 years ago, on the idea of creating a home with good friends, family, and food in one setting.

In 1976, Kreis and Sandy Beall were also captured by the charm of Blackberry Farm.  The farm inspired their dreams of sharing a magical property with good food and good friends.  At the time, Kreis was a new mother to her son Sam.  That year she decided to make the farm their home.  She also opened the property to the public as a six room country inn.

Today Kreis and her son Sam continue the tradition started 38 years ago in the beautiful setting of the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains.

Through Kreis's leadership and vision, the Farm has grown to include 4200 acres, and 62 estate and cottage rooms.

The artisan staff includes the chef, master gardner, baker, cheese maker, forger, butcher, sommelier, and several other experienced members.

Check out our two favorite cookbooks, The Foothills Cuisine of Blackberry Farm and The Blackberry Farm Cookbook.

Join us in celebrating this truly special place with some of our favorite images collected over the years, highlighting a few of our pieces used in each cottage.
