As we are still in the month of February, and we are highlighting "Love," we wanted to touch base on the Love Story of Frida & Diego. Frieda Kahlo & Diego Rivera, two of Mexico's most famous artists, are also a married couple. Rivera is thought of as Mexico's most famous muralist, and Kahlo is more recognized for her intimate paintings and self-portraits.
For the first time, in a large scale exhibition, their work will be on display at the High Museum in Atlanta, through May 12th. If you are ever there on a Saturday, the High is also screening the films Que Viva Mexico and Frida in the Hill Auditorium.
